What is ISO 14001?
ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organizations to manage their environmental responsibilities and commitments in a systematic and proactive manner. The standard provides guidelines for organizations to identify and control the environmental impacts of their activities, products, or services, and to improve their environmental performance over time.

This certification requires organizations to establish an environmental policy, identify significant environmental impacts, set environmental objectives and targets, implement an environmental management system, and carry out regular environmental performance evaluations. The standard is based on the principles of continuous improvement, which means that organizations are encouraged to continuously assess and improve their environmental performance.
